Gaston Nolet
Gaston Nolet
Description
Gaston Nolet has been attending the Carrefour mondial de l’accordéon since 1994. His love for music and the accordion has taken him to small and large stages across Quebec for over fifty years. Originally from Cap-de-la-Madeleine, he quickly became one of the essential musicians in the traditional music scene of Mauricie, crossing paths with other talented musicians such as accordionists Gilles Paré and Michel Béchard, or violinist Isidore Hubert. As a sought-after accordionist for dance troupes, he has notably performed with the “Pieds légers” from the Isle of Jesus and the “Mackinaw” troupe from Drummondville.
