Born in Saint-Paul-de-Montminy, Alexandre Patry learned to play the accordion alongside Raynald Ouellet. His lively and precise style, combined with the richness of his repertoire, has made him one of the most promising young musicians in traditional music. For the past four years, he has taught diatonic accordion at the École internationale de musique de Montmagny.

He took part in his first international festival in July 2023: the Rencontre des accordéonistes des Pyrénées d’Arseguel, performing as a duo with Steve Normandin. He returned to the same festival in 2025, this time performing in a duo with Raynald Ouellet.

Since October 2025, he has held the position of programmer at the Carrefour mondial de l’accordéon de Montmagny.
