Born in Pintendre, Valérie Plante discovered music at a very young age and quickly developed a deep passion for piano and piano accordion.

Trained in music at Université Laval, she pursued studies in classical piano and music education before dedicating herself to private teaching for over 28 years. She has been teaching piano and piano accordion with a rigorous and passionate approach.

In 2023, she completed a Master’s degree in Instrumental Didactics at Université Laval, specializing in piano accordion. She also refined her skills at the CNIMA in France with Jacques Mornet and expanded her musical sensibility in Argentina, where she explored tango and traditional music.

A committed pedagogue, she has developed an innovative teaching method and actively works to promote the piano accordion.
