Description

La Pastourelle is a Quebec folk-traditional music quartet. They showcase the various themes found in traditional songs through sensitive and contemporary interpretations. Inspired by recurring themes in the repertoire, the group offers audiences a rich and evocative experience.

Active on the Quebec music scene, the group performs concerts and also leads dance evenings, helping to keep tradition alive in a contemporary context. La Pastourelle presents its shows throughout Quebec, reaching diverse audiences in various venues.

Following a tour in France, La Pastourelle released its first album, Le roy des amoureux (The King of Lovers), in 2024. The group is also a recipient of the Desjardins Culture Emerging Artist Award.
