Hailing from Gatineau, Patrick Nolet is part of the sixth generation of accordionists in his family. A guitarist since a young age, following in the footsteps of his father Christian, he took up the accordion at the age of 34. Despite starting late, he quickly became a virtuoso on the diatonic accordion. The repertoire of John Kimmel and Irish music hold no secrets for him. His uncle Marcel Nolet and accordionist Timi Turmel are inspirational figures for this self-taught musician.
