Passionate about music since childhood, he began learning the accordion at the age of 20. His years of drum practice, his first instrument, explain his sense of rhythm for which he is recognized. He developed his style under the guidance of his teacher Mr. Gino Lavoie and then Mr. Robert Boutet, his musical mentor who still accompanies him to this day. His musical influences come from Marcel Messervier, Ti-dré Pagé, Robert Boutet, Stéphane Landry, and Mr. Frank Sears. Since 2017, he has been a member of the traditional music group Les Cuillères à Carreaux, touring Quebec and sometimes Ontario to perform.
