Teaching Method
Exercises designed for everyone!
Launched in 2023, our learning method for the one-row diatonic accordion is divided into three stages: Preparatory, Elementary 1 and Elementary 2. The method was designed for students of all ages, as well as teachers in search of instructional tools. Resources include sheet music, exercises and advice for those learning to play the accordion. Musée de l’accordéon
Small museum, big discoveries!
Open from mid-June to Canadian Thanksgiving, the Musée de l’accordéon is one of the region’s premier cultural and tourist destinations. Through a mix of history, heritage, music and entertainment, the museum takes visitors on a fascinating journey through the story of an instrument that has been shaping cultural life in Montmagny for about a century. Exhibits are housed in the Manoir Couillard-Dupuis, a building that dates from 1790.

Music School
Learn while having fun!
Founded by the Carrefour mondial de l’accordéon, the École internationale de musique de Montmagny caters to students of all ages and skill levels from Montmagny and the surrounding area. The school offers courses on a wide range of instruments. Both individual and group classes are available. Interested students can take the preparatory exams for admission to the music program at Laval University.
